Winner jets off to Egypt courtesy of Staysure Stan
Congratulations to Mrs Janis Catlin of Northants who entered a competition in the Staysure Magazine to name our new mascot and won a luxury trip to Port Ghalib in Egypt. We would like to say a big thank you to all the readers who responded, it was a difficult decision particularly as several people suggested similar names, including Stans and Stanleys. However, we felt that Mrs Catlin’s choice of name “Staysure Stan” suited our grenadier, not only providing him with some character but also reinforcing our brand name.
As a Staysure client, Mrs Catlin automatically received the Staysure Magazine and was eligible to enter the competition. Upon hearing that she had been chosen as the winner, Mrs Catlin who enjoys regular foreign travel, particularly holidays that offer a taste of history and sightseeing, expressed her delight saying, "Staysure not only provide an excellent competitive insurance service, but I also now have a fantastic holiday to look forward to, thanks to winning the recent competition to name the mascot. What a fantastic start to 2010, thank you Staysure!"
In line with other high profile insurers such as Direct Line and Admiral which are easily identified or Churchill which also has a distinctive mascot, finding the right name for our mascot was a vital part of Staysure’s new branding. We felt that it was important to ask our clients what they thought, so it was only fitting that the person who came up with the best name would win a very special reward. The prize for naming ‘Staysure Stan’ is two return tickets to Egypt’s Marsa Alam International Airport, Limo transport and a 4-day break staying at the 5-star luxury Intercontinental Palace Hotel, Port Ghalib.
