As the credit crunch continues it has become apparent that even the most financially astute should be looking for ways to get more for their money. As the emphasis on price seems to be the deciding factor Staysure has undertaken a survey of thousands of randomly selected clients from their database, to find out the main motivating factors in deciding where to purchase their travel insurance.

The insurance market is currently saturated with companies advertising cheap prices but when additional factors such as age and medical conditions are included, many potential clients find themselves either excluded from cover or are faced with prohibitively expensive prices. Staysure.co.uk is one of the new breed of insurers who understands the importance of getting the right mix. It’s not enough to offer great prices and products, it’s vital to provide excellent customer service, as client loyalty is the key to the success of any long-term business, ahead of short term profits.

Over 23% of respondents stated that they chose Staysure as they are one of the few travel insurance providers in the industry to cover such a wide age range between 0 – 85 years. This was closely followed just one percent less, at 22%, Staysure’s low prices were the second biggest draw.

Staysure are also known for covering certain pre-existing medical conditions for no extra cost for clients aged up to 80 and also for providing cover via medical screening for those with serious medical conditions or clients aged between 80 and 85. So it’s not surprising that medical travel cover plays a huge part in Staysure’s popularity, attracting 15% of clients with pre-existing medical conditions and 10.5% who take advantage of medical screening to cover more serious medical conditions, making a whopping 25% when combined.

As a predominantly online insurance provider Staysure’s website is designed to be quick and easy to use, providing instant quotes and a simple three step booking process. This is one of the major attractions for 11% of Staysure customers. A further 9% per cent of respondents chose Staysure because they prefer to telephone a UK call centre to speak to one of the many advisors who are on-hand 7 days a week. As an over 50s specialist Staysure’s customer service team are trained to deal patiently and proficiently with all callers, ensuring that older clients can take their time and aren’t made to feel rushed.
