Should over 50’s change their lifestyle and diet in line with modern thinking on what is healthy, or are the ‘experts’ wrong in labeling our traditional diets unhealthy?

There's a great definition of a healthy diet on wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthy_diet In addition to their 10 nutritional points I would add
11) Avoid consuming too many sugary foods (coca cola, chocolate, cakes etc...).

It is something for our well- being. One that is good for us physically as far as spiritually.
