Although taking a sun shine break in the summer time may increase the odds of getting a suntan than if you holidayed in the UK but to many a winter holiday is becoming more of a priority, providing a vital respite from the prospect of a long and chilly winter in Blighty.

No longer considered a reckless extravagance, holidays have long been recognised as essential to both mental and physical wellbeing, add to this the obvious of benefits of escaping harsh winter weather and the question soon becomes ‘where shall we go’, not ‘should we go away this winter?’


Saving money isn’t the first thing to spring to mind when we think of shopping in the capital, most of us are tempted by the choice of shops, variety of goods and also the grandeur of the surroundings, not for cheap prices. The same applies when considering shopping trips Paris, New York, Rome or indeed any other major capital city – although often cheaper than London it’s the experience that makes up for the often high price tags.
