Cruise lines push the boat out for National Cruise Week

national cruise week 2012, cruise, travel, cruises

There has never been a better time to book a cruise, with prices at a low, popularity at an all time high, and companies offering exceptional deals to celebrate National Cruise Week.

National Cruising Week kicked off on Saturday, with agents putting on special events to highlight the benefits of a cruise holiday and the Association of Cruise Experts listing 120 events on its Discover Cruises website.

The three key events are to take place in Bolton, Durham and Darlington, while retailers for Fred Olsen Travel are planning tea events, and many others are also holding promotions.

People who have been thinking about booking a cruise would be well-advised to do so during National Cruise Week, while cruise lines are in a generous mood.

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises are all offering travellers onboard credit of at least $100 per stateroom for all people who book a room with a balcony or above on any 2013 European cruises.

Meanwhile, MSC Cruises is offering free onboard credit for any 2013 bookings made during the week, and All Discovery Cruising offers up to £100 worth of wine for bookings made with Voyages of Discovery, Swan Hellenic and Hebridean Island Cruises.

Those who like the idea of an all-inclusive cruise should seek out the Fred Olsen brochure, which it has made especially for the week, and features cruises to the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, northern Europe, Iceland and Norway.

People who book a Cruise & Maritime Voyages holiday for next year, meanwhile, by September 28th 2012, will see the second passenger go half price.

In addition, Cunard and P&O Cruises has introduced an attractive deal whereby if travellers book in advance and the price is cut afterwards, the individual will get the saving in the form of a cabin upgrade or credit to the ship-board account.

If all this talk of cruises has got you excited , Staysure has a wide range of cruises available here
