Staysure, no. 8 in UK’s Fast Track 100, feted at No. 10 Reception

Staysure’s chief executive, Ryan Howsam, enjoyed the Prime Minister’s hospitality when he attended a reception held at No 10 Downing Street on 6th July. The event, hosted by David Cameron PM, was held to recognise the achievement of Fast Track 100 companies and the contribution they are making towards the UK’s economy.

Northampton-based Staysure.co.uk, was ranked 8 in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, in December 2010 making it officially the UK’s fastest growing provider of insurance and financial services for over 50s; last year the company enjoyed growth of 151%.

The gathering at No 10 followed an awards event at Richard Branson's Oxfordshire home in May this year, also attended by Howsam, who founded Staysure in 2004.

Ryan Howsam said: “We are going from strength to strength and anticipate an even better year in 2011 if the last six months are anything to go by. We have expanded our headquarters to become a significant employer in the Northampton area; an additional 30 employees joined the Staysure team in the past three months alone and recruitment is still taking place across the business. We are all very excited about what the future holds and have some big plans on the horizon”

Since its launch Staysure has sold over a million travel insurance policies to the over 50s. The company’s success is expanding alongside a growing list of other products and services including a Personal Travel Service, Private Medical Insurance, Life Cover, Funeral Plans, as well as Home and Car insurance policies. It has also enlarged its operation in Spain to include new offices in San Pedro and a high street presence from which it offers a growing range of insurance and financial services to expats so they too can enjoy value for money and a quality service abroad.

Innovative new products differentiate Staysure from its competitors and the company plans to launch more new products and services for property, pensions and investments to continue to drive growth.
