Winter Sports  Travel Insurance  is the description given for cover against most snow-related sporting activities. In addition to the standard policy benefits the majority of policies will provide cover for Ski Equipment, Adverse Weather, Piste Closure, Ski Pass and Ski Hire.

Depending upon where you travel the cost of routine medical treatment following an injury can be considerable.  Accidents frequently occur as a result of a third party, so protecting one's own interests is a must.

Owing to the increased risk, Winter Sports cover will usually double the insurance cost of a Single Trip policy.
