On 22nd May 2017 a terrorist detonated an explosive device during a concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

Following the attack the UK’s terror threat level has been raised from ‘severe’ to ‘critical’. Critical being the highest possible category.

Travel Advice

Due to the nature of the threat, travel plans may be disrupted. Travellers are therefore urged to check the status of their flights and trains before travelling.

Manchester Victoria Station is closed to the public until further notice. All airports are operating as normal, however additional security checks are in place, so do ensure you allow additional time at check in/security.
