HR & People Engagement
The HR function delivers a strong and effective partnership between Staysure and its workforce. It is responsible for developing and implementing robust plans to ensure the organisation is recruiting, retaining and developing the highest calibre of people to deliver Staysure’s strategic plan. The team works collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to influence behaviour and embed the desired culture across the business.
The HR Team supports all employees within the business so that the right people are in the right positions. This means you will get the development opportunities to drive forward your own performance as well as that of the business.
The HR team is responsible for company policies and procedures, with a focus on performance management. Responsibilities also include looking after the health and safety of employees and the provision of incentives and awards.
Human Resources (HR)
Human Resources supports all employees across the business, providing confidential guidance and advice. The HR strategy ensures that the right people are in the right positions and that we develop the skills required to keep driving our business forward. All HR policies are readily available in our Employee Handbook on the HR pages of the intranet. A systematic performance management approach enables our people to achieve their full potential and contribute to our goal of delivering excellence within our marketplace.
Learning & Development (L&D)
The Learning & Development team helps people to develop their knowledge and skills and increase their capacity and capability to add value to the business. We deliver comprehensive induction and on-boarding training programmes for all new starters as well as providing skills training, product and systems training, management & leadership programmes and professional development qualifications. We actively endorse a culture of personal development and ownership for self-directed learning. Our aim is to ensure that all of our employees have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential; whether there are learning gaps or aspirations to climb the career ladder, we are keen to work with individuals and help them grow with the business.
“I enjoy working for Staysure because it’s a fast paced environment that keeps me on my toes. There’s always something new going on and changes being made to improve the way we do things. I’m always seeing new faces and getting to know new people. The company values around ‘trust, honesty and respect’ are values that are really important to me. I really notice the company working towards these, which drives the culture we work in. Most of all, Staysure is a team and we all work together towards achieving our goals.”
Internal Communications ensures that everyone at Staysure are kept informed of business and industry news, team incentives as well as social news and events. Information is shared through a variety of channels including an internal weekly newsletter, intranet site, contact centre help files, internal information posters, and team briefings. They also assist with cascading communications about new initiatives and planned changes that will affect staff, working closely with functional heads to develop comprehensive communication plans.
