Local company expanding operations with new call centre

Northampton-based over-50s insurance provider Staysure.co.uk is defying the economic downturn and significantly expanding its local operations aiming to double its turnover in 12 months.

The company, which was founded in 2004 and has since grown its annual turnover to more than £10m, is opening a call centre on Northampton’s Lakes Business Park employing up to 70 people.

Staysure.co.uk provides travel, home, motor, holiday home, funeral care plans and private medical insurance targeted at the over-50s market. The firm is introducing travel and cruise packages, as well as a number of other related products over the coming months – all of which will be sold through the new call centre.

The insurance provider, which has chosen Northampton due to its skilled workforce and strength in call centre experience is hosting a recruitment open day on 12th April. The positions available include contact centre staff, team leaders and supervisors as well as a finance team and PPC marketing specialist.
