Staysure staff are celebrating after raising a massive £373 for charity during the World’s Biggest Coffee morning on September 25. The event saw people bringing in cakes in the both the Coventry and Northampton offices and staff making donations to Macmillan Cancer Support in exchange for enjoying the cake with a cup of coffee.

Additional funds were also raised in the Coventry office after staff took their cakes to companies on different floors in the same building. Katy Shipley, a Customer Support Executive at Staysure Travel, said: “I just want to say a huge thank you for all that helped, donated and contributed to the Macmillan Coffee Morning.”

Since 1990, Macmillan Cancer Support have been organising a coffee morning to raise funds for the charity. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is the charity’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year Macmillan raised £25 million during the fundraiser and this year they are hoping to beat that total.
