Family travel insurance

You can be covered if you decide to take a trip on your own or without the kids, as long as it’s not a business trip.

To make sure your policy covers you individually, check you’ve declared any pre-existing medical conditions and that the destination you’re travelling to is covered by your policy.

Travel insurance is important for people of any age, including your children. For example, it could cover your costs if your child has a medical emergency abroad.

By taking out a policy for your whole family, you can enjoy your trip knowing we’re there to support you if something goes wrong.

Please note, for your child to be covered by travel insurance, they must be travelling with an adult.

You can make changes to your policy before your trip starts, subject to the T&Cs of your policy.

Please note, we can’t reduce your cover in return for a partial refund. So, check you’re happy you’ve got the right level of cover when you take out your policy.

To be covered for COVID-19 on our policies, you need to have had all doses of the COVID-19 vaccine you’ve been offered, including any booster jabs.

You can also be covered if you can’t have the vaccine due to a medical exemption.

If you’ve refused any doses of the COVID-19 vaccine then you won’t be covered for COVID-19 related claims.
