20 August 2015 - A new study has revealed that over-50s holidaymakers are paying out £1,700 a year for unexpected medical bills that aren't covered by their travel insurance. Half of the over-50s within the study suffer from a medical condition - almost a quarter of which are travelling without being properly insured – as 23 per cent admit they fail to declare their medical conditions. This means travellers are not covered should they fall ill on holiday.

December 2012 - Fast Track, which recognises the UK's fastest growing businesses ranked Staysure no. 28th in the league table printed in the Sunday Times in 2nd December 2012. This is the third year running for Staysure and is marking the end of very successful 2012. In 2010 Staysure was ranked 8th and number 15th in 2011.
November 2012 - The 15th annual Personal Finance Awards, hosted by The Money Pages, were held on 27th November 2012 in central London, attended by almost 100 guests from the finance world.
March 2012 - Over a quarter of all Staysure policy holders aged fifty or over who have a pre-existing medical condition reported having an illness that could be exacerbated by high salt intake, according to data analysed by the insurance specialist's medical screening process.
July 2011 - Staysure.co.uk, the UK's fastest growing provider of insurance and financial services for over 50s, has joined the ranks of those advising the government against a change to the frequency of MOTs. Although reducing the frequency of testing will mean instant savings for motorists, Staysure warns that it may lead to higher insurance premiums before long.

March 2011 - The over 50s are getting more adventurous in their travels as they get older, according to a new survey by over 50s experts Staysure.co.uk. Conducted in March, the survey found that almost three quarters of over 50s (72%) said they are taking more adventurous holidays and seeking new places in their golden years. Of these, 8% admitted their improved financial situation is a contributing factor to fulfilling their travel dreams.
March 2011 - Councils across the UK have recently announced large increases in both cremation and grave plot costs. In many councils, cremation costs alone have risen by as much as 20%, far outstripping the rate of inflation in a move that will target the recently bereaved. These are just the latest in council controlled price hikes that have seen cremation costs soar by 48% between 2007 and 2010.
