What if my travel company or airline goes bust before or during my trip?

There are regulations that can help you to claim compensation if a travel supplier you’ve chosen goes bust. It's unlikely that you will be able to get a refund from the company directly. You can sometimes be legally covered for compensation if you booked an ATOL protected holiday package. Failing that, if you’ve bought your holiday on your credit card, then you’ll be covered under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act to claim for compensation through your bank.

What if I need to have medical treatment when I’m on holiday?

It doesn't matter where in the world you're calling from, we're on hand 24 hours a day for medical emergencies. Our multi-lingual team can help you find a doctor, and we'll even provide translation services if necessary. And you can reverse the charges to us if you need to. If your medical expenses come to more than £350, we’ll also try and settle the bill directly with the medical team where we can.

How do I declare my pre-existing medical condition on my Comprehensive travel insurance?

You can declare your medical conditions through our online medical screening process, which is a straightforward set of questions for us to understand how your medical condition affects you. Or, if you prefer, you can complete the medical screening over the phone.

It’s important that all pre-existing conditions are declared on your medical travel insurance.

This will avoid large medical bills if you need treatment in another country. Failure to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions may affect the validity of your policy should you need to claim.

First Time Cruiser

I was help by a nice man called Shaun, he helped me out after having to call customer service due to the online Cuise quote telling me I had to call you. I explained what happened to lead me to call your customer service person. Shaun listen and pains takingly went through all the options available to me for the pericular Cover & Add-ons I needed as I am new to doing my holiday insurances now. Shaun was able to answer any query I had. The price was high in my opinion but with my Medical history and its great Emergency Medical & Repatriation Cover along with various other covers included that ticked my boxes. I decided to go for it, as it may be a once in a lifetime thing I do. Shaun did say I can look for other quotes before deciding, he didn't presure me into doing it and I was tempted to look elsewhere but the fact that he give me that option just made me feel at ease with the price. Its something my husband & I wanted to do had he had the chance, so thank you Shaun for being patient with me, I appreciate that.
