How to register and book with Travel Doctor
If you have a Staysure travel insurance policy, you can register with the Travel Doctor service before you travel. That way, you’ll be ready for medical support abroad when you need it. It only takes a few minutes.
Step 1 – Register before you travel
When you buy a Staysure policy, you’ll get a link to register on your confirmation screen and in your welcome email. You can also request the link by calling Staysure customer services using the number provided in your policy documents.
Step 2 – Find a doctor
When you need help on your trip:
- open the app – it detects your location or lets you search by area
- filter by speciality, language and distance
- review each doctor’s profile, clinic information, photos and ratings
Step 3 – Book your appointment
Choose the consultation type that suits you:
- Secure video appointment.
- Visit a clinic nearby.
- An appointment at your accommodation (where offered).
Choose a time that suits you and send your request. You’ll get a confirmation in the app shortly, depending on the doctor’s availability.
Step 4 – Attend and follow up
Join your video call or attend your appointment at the agreed time.
- Your consultation will be billed directly between Travel Doctor, the doctor and the insurer.
- You will not normally need to complete claim forms for the consultation itself.
- If medication is prescribed, it’s free of charge* when provided by your consulting doctor. If you collect your prescription from another location, you’ll need to pay upfront and claim the cost back when you return home.
