Renewing your policy
Yes, if you change your mind after your policy has been renewed, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. This means that within these 14 days, you have the option to cancel your policy and receive a full refund.
Yes, you can opt out of automatic policy renewals by logging in to your MyStaysure account.
Once logged in, go to 'My Policies' and then click 'Amend my policy'.
You will then have a pop-up asking "Have any travellers had a change in health since the policy was purchased?"
- Selecting "Yes" Or "No" will prompt another pop-up where you will have to select "I agree" Or "I disagree" to the questions asked.
- If selecting "I Disagree" You will need to contact our customer services team on 0333 014 6981
- If Selecting "Agree" this will take you to the next page.
If you scroll down, you’ll see the 'Auto Renewal' button.
Green - your policy will renew automatically each year
Red - your policy will not renew automatically each yearTo save your changes, click ‘continue’. You’ll receive a confirmation message once your changes are complete.

If you’ve changed your mind and would like to cancel your renewal, just give us a call before your renewal date on 01604 265688.
If you pay for your policy in one go, we’ll need at least five days’ notice. If you’re paying monthly for your travel insurance, you’ll need to give us at least 10 days’ notice before your renewal date.
If you’ve chosen to renew your travel insurance automatically, we’ll send you a reminder by post at least 21 days before your policy expires. This reminder details the price you paid previously, and how much your policy will cost for another 12 months of cover.
If you’ve chosen to renew using a continuous payment method (debit or credit card), we’ll automatically take payment the day before your policy expires, so there’s no gap in your cover.

If you’re happy with your renewal quote and there are no changes to make, you won’t need to do a thing. Your policy will automatically renew so you’re all ready to go for your next holiday.

Please notify us promptly of any changes to your medical conditions. This includes any changes in medication or any new diagnoses that you may have received. You have two options to inform us about these changes:
- Online: You can update your medical information through your My Staysure account by clicking HERE and logging in.
- Phone: If you prefer to speak to someone directly, you can call our dedicated renewals team.
If you pay for your insurance policy through monthly direct debit or if we are unable to provide cover for medical reasons, you may not have the option to renew your policy online.

Yes, it is possible to opt-in for auto-renewal online. To do this, you will need to access your 'Mystaysure' account. You can do so by clicking HERE
Once logged on go to 'My Policies', There you'll need to click 'amend my policy' and scroll down and click the 'Auto Renewal' button if it's red.
If the button is already green, it means that you have already opted in for Automatic Renewal. This is good news because it ensures that your subscription will be automatically renewed without any additional steps required from you.
If the button on the page is currently red, you should click on it in order to change its color to green. Once you have made this update, you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Continue" button. Keep clicking on "Continue" until you receive a confirmation message indicating that the process is complete.
It is advisable to verify the validity of your travel insurance before embarking on your vacation. Alternatively, you may contact our helpful renewals team if your policy is scheduled to expire during your trip.

When you initially purchase your annual travel insurance policy, we will enquire whether you would like us to automatically renew your policy each year. By opting for automatic renewal, you can enjoy continued cover without any hassle. This means that you won't have to go through the process of renewing your policy manually every year. You have the option to renew your policy on your own when it is about to expire. You don't need to worry about remembering the expiration date because we will send you a reminder. All you have to do is log into your My Staysure account at your convenience. To access your account, simply click HERE

Renewal documents are automatically created and sent to you 32 days prior to the expiration date of your policy. This timeframe allows you ample opportunity to carefully review the documents and inform us of any modifications or adjustments you would like to make. We understand the importance of giving you sufficient time to make any necessary changes to your policy before it renews.

If you’re amending your policy, you may see an increase in price from your renewal quote. But with this comes peace of mind, knowing your travel insurance can cover you against the unexpected.

You will receive your renewal documents by email, or you can choose to have the documents sent to you in the post. You can also view your documents by logging into your My Staysure account.
Just select your preferred option on the summary screen if you are renewing your policy online.
If you’re renewing your policy online and you have a discount code, you can apply this to your policy on the payment screen. Just enter the code into the ‘Promotional code’ box and click apply.
