Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance

For those who travel more than once a year

Annual multi-trip insurance from Staysure

What is Annual Travel Insurance?

Staysure's annual travel insurance, also known as annual multi-trip insurance, is inexpensive and can save you thousands if you're intending to travel more than once in a year.

If you are a regular traveller, annual holiday insurance gives you the flexibility to travel where you want, when you want, without the trouble of applying for a new policy each time you go away.

Your annual travel insurance includes:

Travel as often as you like, up to 50 days per trip with option to extend to 100 days per trip
Many pre-existing medical conditions covered
17 days of winter sports cover is included in Comprehensive policies (up to the age of 70)
Travel to UK, the rest of Europe and many other destinations worldwide
Optional extras to tailor your policy for your needs

Which level of cover do you need?

Basic annual travel insurance covers medical emergencies and repatriation, up to £5m and baggage claims, up to £200. It does not include cancellations, curtailment and trip interruption. This can be added to your policy and covers you should you need to cancel or interrupt your trip unexpectedly.

Comprehensive annual travel insurance includes cover for medical emergency and repatriation of up to £10m; cancellation, curtailment and trip interruption, up to £5,000; baggage loss, up to £2,000; personal liability, up to £2m and legal protection cover for up to £25,000.

Your tailor-made cover

At Staysure, you also have the option to tailor your annual insurance cover to suit your own holiday needs. For example, you could add cover for winter sports, unexpected accommodation costs, extended travel delays, missed departures, extra legal costs, golf equipment or anything else you may need. Tailoring your policy is easy and, with the help of our travel insurance experts, it is easy to create the insurance policy you need.

If you have any questions regarding annual travel insurance, we will gladly help – simply talk to the experts on 0844 692 8444 for an answer to all your queries. Alternatively, get an instant travel insurance quote online.

Travel the world

If you obtain the correct cover for the region you're travelling to and make us aware of any changes in your conditions, you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with Staysure annual cover. Simply go where your heart takes you without having to think of insurance each time you take a trip.

Staysure's annual cover is available for European and worldwide destinations. Annual worldwide travel insurance is slightly more expensive but can work out cheaper than a Single Trip insurance, even if you only travel outside of Europe once.

Travel safely with Staysure

If you're planning a number of trips in a year it's important that you're armed with as much knowledge as possible before you travel. Staysure is an official partner of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office's Know Before You Go campaign, which helps to keep British travellers safe and healthy abroad.

Know Before You Go comprises a number of simple steps to run through before travelling. First, you are recommended to make sure you've got comprehensive travel insurance, to cover you should anything go wrong while you're away.

You can also check the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's FCO's country-by-country travel advice, which lets you know if travel is safe in your intended destination. It also gives basic information on the country's customs, laws and entry requirements.

Always check your passport is valid for the entirety of your trip and note that some destinations require an extra period of validity to allow you to enter the country. Keep a copy of your passport and other important documents and store them online or leave them with someone you trust at home.

The NHS provides excellent travel health advice, which gives you comprehensive information about safety in the sun, as well as practical guides to vaccinations and other health-related travel issues.

Finally, you should make sure you travel with access to enough money to cover all eventualities - emergency funds are essential should anything unexpected happen.

Making the most of your annual travel insurance

If you're planning on seeing the world with annual cover, you will find plenty of inspiration online. One of many great sources of information on top destinations is The Telegraph Travel, which contains everything from reviews of the latest ski resorts and what to do on short breaks to Europe, to expert guides to exotic, far-flung destinations.

A cruise is a great way to experience many destinations, all in one trip and is the perfect option if you're not keen on flying. Visit the Norwegian fjords with Fred Olsen on board their largest and newest ship, The Balmoral, or sail to the Caribbean, Alaska or other exotic destinations.
